The Company opens a new manufacturing facility in California, expands into larger warehouses in New Jersey, Georgia and Puerto Rico, and leases a warehouse in Seattle.

July: Construction of an additional 20,000 sq. ft. area to the existing 150,000 sq. ft. plant and office.
July 22nd: State Chemical joins with Stouffer’s personnel to clean up the statue of General Moses Cleaveland on Cleveland Public Square to celebrate the 182nd anniversary of General Cleaveland’s landing at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River in 1796 and founding the city that later became Cleveland. State Chemical personnel, as well as the necessary pressure sprayers and detergent, do the job.
