November 11: 75th anniversary of State Chemical. Cleveland Mayor George Voinovich proclaims the date as “State Chemical Day”.
State makes a large investment in an on-line computer system for order processing.

State Chemical buys Hyline International, a Canadian company based in Ontario, that becomes State Chemical Ltd.
1991
State Chemical purchases the Canadian company Atco. which joins State Chemical Ltd.

Sales hit $100 million for the first time.

A 10,000 sq. ft. addition is added to the Cleveland warehouse.
Corporate identity established when State Industrial Products name and logo unveiled.

Hal Uhrman promoted to CEO/President of State Industrial Products SAP introduced.

Purchase of 200,000 square foot manufacturing / distribution center in Hebron, Ohio.
