State Chemical is committed to manufacturing and distributing safe, effective and environmentally-friendly products to our industrial and institutional customers. We strive for cleaner workplaces that leave a positive impact on the environment. One of our achievements has been the removal of all alkyl phenol ethoxylate (APE) surfactants to make our products more eco-friendly.

State Chemical has been certified as meeting the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard and the ISO 14001 standard for Environmental Management. We have achieved industry leadership in product design, manufacturing quality, shipping and invoice accuracy as well as environmental management.

State Chemical’s New Era™ product is the first to receive South Coast Air Quality Management District exemption from the solvent parts washing requirements in the LA Basin in California.

State Chemical participates in the Product Care Program, a voluntary product program that promotes the production and distribution of safe and effective formulated products that provide desirable benefits for industrial and institutional customers and their environment.

Several State Chemical products meet Green Seal’s environmental standards for industrial and institutional cleaners based on reduced human and aquatic toxicity and reduced pollution potential. Our customers can feel confident that they are purchasing environmentally preferred products.

State is an active participant in the EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE) program by incorporating health and environmental considerations into the design of products and processes. Two State Chemical products have achieved DfE recognition – Gator™ bio-based drain and grease trap maintainer and New Era™ bio-based industrial cleaning/solvent for parts washing.

Serving industrial customers in the United States, Canada & Puerto Rico.
